Tour Riding****with Icelandic Horses July 16-25th
For adults, there will be a couple of different horseback riding tours based on Pensionat Helags. Children from 12-16 years old are welcome to ride with an adult on these tours.
For younger children, horseback riding is offered near the guest house where Diana leads the horse around on a smaller track. For more information and pre-registration, please call Diana directly; 0730-879012
During Helagsmaran on July 18, there will be an opportunity for young and old to ride in the finish area (no pre-registration)

Midnight Walk 21.30-01.00
Experience the mountains in summer light! We will gather at Pensionat Helags at 21.30. We drive in each car up to the parking lot Ripan. We walk together in the soft evening light when the sun barely sets — a magical way to experience nature. The hike goes at a leisurely pace up the mountain along trails in mountain birch forest and over thriving marshes. We make several breaks along the way to enjoy the view, listen to the silence of the mountains and maybe discover something exciting in nature. We stop for an evening picnic in the vicinity of Lake Öjön. There we make a fire and boil coffee, tea and bake buns over an open fire. After a good time, we return to the parking lot.

This is an experience for the whole family — even children from about 10-12 years old who like to move around in nature can join. Premiere price: 495 SEK/adult 1495 for family (2 adults and 2 children) Suitable for adults and children from about 12 years old with hiking habits. Length: About 5-6 km round trip

Try fishing with fishing guide 10am-6pm
Join Ron and learn more about fly fishing. This is for those who are beginners or who have already tried fly fishing but want to learn more. Perfect for the family with children. No prior knowledge required. Equipment is available to borrow. You will meet at the Guest House at 10.00 for a briefing before you go out and try your fishing luck. Walking in Silence 10-14
Join Evelina on this pleasant hike where we walk in silence and focus on what we see, hear, smell, taste and feel. We gather at the Guest House at 10.00 where we start with a cup of herbal tea and a short review of the tour. We go in a group in each car to the Björken parking lot where we start our hike. We will hike at a slow pace, walk about 6 km during the tour, stop to do mountain meditation and have a long coffee. (Bring your own lunch bag). Pre-registration.
